The mansion, constructed at the end of the 18th century, was expropriated and restored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, subsequently serving as the Ethnography Museum. The foundation and ground floor of the building are constructed with rubble stone, while the main floors are made of carcass-brick mixture. The ground floor exhibit features Sinop and Boyabat houses, kitchen and village room. The first floor of the mansion displays a variety of artefacts, including jewellery, swords and weaving looms, which were used in Sinop and its surrounding region. The second floor of the mansion comprises a large hall and four symmetrically planned rooms, along with three iwans, which collectively illustrate the daily life in the mansion.
