The Akhisar Museum opened in 2012 in the building of Ali Şefik Secondary School, formerly a Teacher's House. It mainly exhibits artefacts from Akhisar and its surroundings, including an Archaeological Works section, an Ethnographic Works section, and Arasta. Notable artefacts include a male relief with a bird in its hand, discovered in the village of Gokceler. It is believed to be part of the door of a burial chamber dating back to the 5th century B.C.
