The Balıkpazarı Museum Complex, situated in the Kıyıkışlacık Quarter, is a notable monumental Roman period tomb situated in a rectangular area surrounded by porticoed galleries. The building was restored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 1993. As a consequence of the restoration works, the architectural pieces and other artefacts discovered during the excavations of Iasos by the Italian excavation team were exhibited in the galleries and the monumental tomb was opened to visitors as the Balıkpazarı Open Air Museum in 1995. The grave structure, which is located in the open-air museum and dates back to the 2nd century AD, has a square plan (10 x 7 m) and the remnants of the grave are exhibited in the middle part of the museum.
