Atatürk House Ethnography Museum The museum building was likely constructed in the late 19th century. The building has a Chios style facade, featuring a specific architectural plan, window form, and ornaments. It consists of two floors, each with an anteroom in the middle and several rooms opening to it. In the early years of the Republic, the building served as a political party headquarters. On February 4, 1931, Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK stayed here for one night. After 1950, the building was assigned to the Ministry of Health and used as a tuberculosis dispensary for a period. It underwent restoration between 1981 and 1983 and opened to the public as a museum on February 1, 1984. Flag The red atlas fabric of the flag features yellow lace embroidery and writing. The front side includes the phrase 'Long Live The Homeland' in Ottoman Turkish at the top, an Ottoman Imperial coat of arms surrounded by a wreath in the middle, and three star and crescent figures embroidered, with two beneath and one above the coat of arms. In the lower section, there is a reminder of Draw 24 of Battalion 2 of Regiment 67 in Baş Mosque of Flour Market of Denizli Bazaar. The back side features two figures of star and crescent, one at each upper corner. The edges are fringed with wire glitter. This flag dates back to Hegira 1327, Gregorian 1811. During the protest rally against the occupation of İzmir by the Greeks, Mufti Ahmet Hulusi Efendi delivered his historic speech under this flag and called upon the people of Denizli to fight.
