The Hazeranlar Mansion, located in Hatuniye Neighbourhood, was built in 1865 by Hasan Talat Efendi, the bookkeeper of Amasya Mutasarrif Ziya Pasha. It is organised in two sections as haremlik and selamlık. The building features a central hall and four iwan plan types with a closed inner courtyard. Located on the Yeşilırmak coastline, the mansion is one of the outstanding examples of traditional Ottoman residential architecture and has an important place among the 19th century civil architectural structures. Hazeranlar Mansion was expropriated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 1976. The restoration of the mansion began in 1979, was completed in 1983 and the mansion opened as a "Museum House" where ethnographic artefacts were exhibited in 1984. The Selamlık and Selamlık Başoda The Selamlık Room is the place where people who come to the mansion as guests are hosted and special guests are kept before being taken to the head room.
